I was disappointed about Stereo Alchemy since I've never cared too much for that sort of music, but you can change my mind if anyone can!
Do you plan to return to the "Calling All Dawns" style after?
Thanks! Stereo Alchemy will still have a lot of hallmarks of my composing style... emphasis on melody and form, use of old texts, etc. I do plan on doing more crossover-world works like Calling All Dawns. They're just expensive and time consuming, and I haven't quite sold enough copies of Calling All Dawns yet to make starting on a sequel possible.
More a plaudit. So young to be so gifted! Having traveled quite a bit, I was amazed to hear a modified "Our Father" done in Swahili. Took me back several decades to some old friends in Tanzania.Christopher Tin responded on 07/31/2011 Next question
Calling All Dawns might just be the best record I've ever listened to top to bottom. Have you thought about a band transcription of the score? I'd really love to see a true-to-orchestra version!Christopher Tin responded on 07/31/2011
