What are you thinking of (or feeling) when you create something as beautiful as Mado Kara Mieru?
Hmm... well, mostly I'm fixated on moving every note into its proper place. But also I'm thinking about the context of each note--what comes before it, what comes after it. Music is a vast, floating web of context and meaning between notes. Beauty is found in the way that all those notes relate to each other.

More a plaudit. So young to be so gifted! Having traveled quite a bit, I was amazed to hear a modified "Our Father" done in Swahili. Took me back several decades to some old friends in Tanzania.Christopher Tin responded on 07/31/2011
