Was there a specific "a ha" moment in your life that pushed you toward writing music and composing? Also, what drove you toward classical composition as opposed to more pop structures?
Well, the thing is, I think my classical compositions DO have pop structures. I think that's what makes them accessible. I'm a big fan of pop music, and am doing more songwriting these days.
As for the 'a ha' moment, it was probably when I wrote my first musical, when I was 17. Really enjoyed that process!
What is your favorite music genre for listening?
What are your biggest inspirations when composing?
This piece is beautiful & inspiring. How were you able to compile these languages so fluently and with such a deep understand of the cultures associated while maintaining the piece's voice throughout?Christopher Tin responded on 01/24/2011
