Hey Chris, I am an aspiring composer @Northwestern University. From studying at various institutions to internships, you have had very diverse opportunities. What has been the most worthwhile?
I think practical experience is extremely important. There's a level of professionalism that you have to learn, and the only way to do that is to go through the ringer. Working at the top levels of Hollywood is extremely demanding... you just have to elevate your game, and the only way to do that is to really be involved in the thick of things. Interning for Hans Zimmer was a great experience, in that regard.
