You travel a lot around the world to observe other cultures and use that experience in your music. What is the favourite place (or rather the most unique place) you have visited and why?
Thanks, I absolutely love your music by the way.
Actually, my favorite travel spot probably has the least to do with other people's cultures. I took a trip to the Galapagos Islands once, and it was absolutely amazing. I loved it, and would love to go back sometime. (Maybe I'll revisit it for inspiration for my next album.)
Other particularly memorable trips were to Chennai, Capetown, Istanbul (because I was there during the government protests last year) and the Amazon rainforest. Oh, and I can't get enough of the Mediterranean too. Would love to retire in Croatia or Italy someday!
Will there be another STEREO ALCHEMY album eventually?Christopher Tin responded on 04/29/2014 Next question
Did you get a copy of the recording of the Bangor Symphony Youth Orchestra performing Iza Ngomso? You would have been so proud of them! Thanks for sharing your talent with our young people!
