Q

I noticed on your CD, most of the song's lyrics were not written by you. Where do you find the lyrics?

Christopher Tin responded on 08/09/2010
A

Lots and lots of research. Always looking for great old poems, prayers, and stories to set to music. Feel free to send in any suggestions.

Q

I noticed on the back of Calling All Dawns, it says, "Produced by Christopher Tin". What did you actually do in production of the CD? I mean, you wrote the music, right?

Christopher Tin responded on 08/09/2010
A

Yes, I did write all the music. You're not the only one who was confused by that. I thought that people would assume that I wrote all the music, but even radio DJs have asked me that question. As far as the production goes, in addition to writing everything, I edited all the recordings, played some of the instruments, arranged everything, coordinated all the artists... basically everything that goes into putting together an album, other than playing each and every instrument and being the engineer.

Q

What are your goals?

That's a tough one... Leonard Bernstein, maybe?

Q
